Medication Management

Medication Management is the administration and monitoring of medication for the purpose of improving, stabilizing, and/or managing symptoms for mental health disorders. Our Camelot medical providers prescribe different psychotropic medications such as antidepressants, mood stabilizers, antipsychotics, and stimulant medications.

Each client has their own unique reason for seeking out assistance, sometimes based on their own desire to improve their life and other times based on someone else’s desire or a court mandate.

At Camelot, we strive to meet each unique individual’s needs by partnering with clients, families, and caregiving partners and providing a quality service experience from admission to discharge. While successful outcomes are never guaranteed, and require active participation and a desire for personal growth on the part of the client, our goal at Camelot is to ensure a positive experience for everyone that seeks out our assistance.

Medication Management services are always provided by trained medication prescribers who have experience working with a variety of mental health and behavioral needs. Our medication prescribers are supervised by a licensed Medical Doctor.

Our Method: 

The method and frequency of treatment is based on a variety of clinical factors, as well as a client’s individual preferences and needs. While Medication Management services are typically provided in an office setting, in some situations teletherapy may be indicated. Telehealth, or teletherapy, is an alternative to the traditional manner of delivering therapy services in an office setting and allows for the client to receive services in their home, or another office setting which is closer to their home. This can be extremely useful for clients who do not reside close to a Camelot office that provides medication management services, or for clients who are unable to leave their homes, travel long distances or obtain childcare services.
